At the first 2011-2012 STEM Speaker Series on Sept. 14, 2011, Rajmonda Sulo Caceres, mathematician, UIC, spoke about the intersection of mathematics and
computer science research. These themes are being used to tackle exciting questions arising in a diverse set of areas including biology, physics, economics and music.
In particular, she discussed dynamic networks and presented some recent developments in this area.
